New Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Fellowship Program

In July 2006, Florida Hospital will begin a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS).

The program will accept 2 fellows each year and the curriculum will include general, colorectal, and pediatric surgery, with primary focus on research and developing new surgical techniques.

One of our prestigious doctors, Sergio Larach, MD, has been appointed section chief of the MIS fellowship. He is a member of the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery and a recognized leader in Laparoscopic surgery.
